HOW TO CHANGE YOUR FUSE
You'll know which fuse to change by what isn't working. For instance, if your stereo will no longer play your Best Love Songs of the 80s CD, you need to change the fuse that goes to your stereo.

The fuse box might be under the dash or under the hood. Some cars have them in both places. You'll recognize the fuses inside because they come in all sorts of pretty colors. Kind of like your collection of ceramic hummingbirds.

On the inside of the panel you'll find a drawing that shows which fuse is which.

You can also tell which fuse is blown by looking at it. It might look like a blown light bulb. But you probably call an electrician to change those.

Some cars have a fuse puller in the fuse box. Otherwise, just grasp the fuse and squeeze gently with your fingers. Imagine you're plucking a salmon croquette from a tray at a cocktail party.

Take your fuse to the auto parts store and ask for a replacement. Don't be shy. By now, they probably know you by name.

Snap your new fuse into the empty slot and start your car. Your 80s love songs should pick up right where they left off.
